I have been single for the better part of my life and enough is enough. I will blog and blog and blog if that's what it takes, until someone... ANYONE... takes notice.
Here, I will post whatever I want. My dating experiences, non dating experiences, things that amuse me and so on. If you find yourself attracted to me - get in contact. You have NO idea how difficult it is... NONE... That is, unless you do have some idea.
*Cough*
Sorry. I just get a little overwhelmed when expressing myself with a keyboard, you'll have to forgive me.
To introduce myself - My name is Peta, I'm 22 years old and I work in radio. This is a photo of me in one of my many forms, this one entitled: cheesy
And cheesy it is. As I mentioned, I've been single for a long time. I identify my sexuality as gender preference negotiable, favouring men. Though the longest relationship I've had was with a woman - this ended because of the realisation that I favour men... If you catch my drift.I enjoy sex, music, playing computer games, politics, most of the internet and drinking a casual amount of alcohol. I like the same in the people I meet. An indifference to any of those topics will prevent a good match.
I'm usually funny - but this post doesn't seem to be anything of the sort. I have a dark sense of humour that often makes people blush and grumble - especially when I show it around strangers.
I have a cat. Don't be allergic to cats.
This is my cat preventing me from watching Stephen Colbert, either because of jealously - or the warmth the radioactive giant television puts out:
I've tried internet dating, speed dating, picking up in bars, being picked up in bars, being set up by friends, meeting people casually at social events etc. None of these have worked.I am making this blog to put myself into a series of blog entries - to both attempt to attract a person who finds my rants amusing enough to pursue me and also for me to examine a microcosm of my own personality to see what I'm doing wrong.
Any other input is accepted also.
Welcome to the blog of the Desperate Single Girl.
